June's Paper Pumpkin!
annnd another week and a half has passed with no stamping.
Really really.
More than that actually, but hey! Today I got to play!
This summer has just been one kind of crazy after another. Fortunately this past weekend was a family vacation kind of crazy... but then you know how you need a vacation after your vacation?
Yep.
Right there.
...which might explain the stamping!
I'll start off with the fact that I finally got to play with the June Paper Pumpkin!
Note to self: If you move, change your address with Stampin' Up! AND with Paper Pumpkin! Those are two different shipping addresses!
And! Paper Pumpkin boxes do not forward! Which is probably a good thing, but a tricky thing for me...
Anyway!!
June 2016 was a fun project! You could make cards, or you could make a banner, or you could attach a banner, accordion folded, to a card! I'm kind of thinking this will make a super cute bridal shower banner for my soon-to-be sister in law...! In the meantime...this just might end up her birthday card! haha....
The cellophane triangle bag is loose off the front of the card, and attached with the white baker's twine. I filled it with the stamped circle (and the star is a sticker), and then a bit of confetti. There was a whole bag of confetti in this box! Then the triangle was closed with some cute Washi Tape!
I thought it was a fun project and I can think of many people who would love to get this in the mail! I'm also thinking of ways to use these supplies in scrapbooks...! I really miss scrapbooking!
If you missed out, make sure you're a subscriber and you can order the refill HERE. The only thing you'll need is ink! Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe came with this package, but for this particular card I only used Mint Macaron!

A Birthday Weekend!
I got a little bit of stamping done this weekend, which is pretty remarkable since my weekend looked like this:
And that doesn't even show the three dishes I made for the family gathering, or the five other dishes made in the same kitchen....which doesn't include the cake, haha! (My awesome husband made the cake, btw!)
But of course I needed a card from his parents and a card from his sister! I made two, sort of similar, haha...and let his sister choose which card was from her, she chose the first.
This one uses the newest returning sketch from Nacho Average Challenges! I'm so excited they're back and I really hope to keep playing with them! This uses the May 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit, a retired set of Star Dies, and retired sequins! But, it totally suits my son!
And if you're curious, I used packing tape stuck together for the window, and lined the star edges with the edges of Dimensionals sheets to hold the sequins in. And yes, those sequins are Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar!
Supplies:
Stamps: May 2016 Paper Pumpkin
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Whisper White card stock, May 2016 Paper Pumpkin
Accessories: May 2016 Paper Pumpkin, Stars Dies(retired), Big Shot, Dimensional (edges!), In Color Sequins (retired)
Next, I wanted to use the Mojo Monday sketch that has now passed. I decided to use that star I had just cut out again, haha! This one is pretty simple, Again I used a retired stamp set, and these star sticker bits came from the May Paper Pumpkin as well!
Supplies:
Stamps: Words of Truth (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: May 2016 Paper Pumpkin, Big Shot, Stars Dies (retired)
And that is all the stamping I have done for a while! *sniff sniff....
Maybe this week I can get more done??

Cards in The Mail!
Hello again! I hope my United States readers had a great 4th of July weekend! We definitely did, tho there aren't very many pictures...2016 has been a weird one for me, haha!
Today I'm sharing some very cool cards using some brand new products, made by other demonstrators. I love swapping with this group! There are always so many great card ideas and I love being able to feature things I don't even own! The creators names are on the cards, so enjoy!

Blog Hop: Step It Up with Swirls!
Happy July!!
July?? Yep, the year is officially half over and I don't know where it went! But a new month means a fun, new Blog Hop, so here we are!
Do I need to admit I have a problem? A small addiction to this stamp set and die? Well....here it is again! Of the eleven separate card designs I have made in June, six use this set... *ahem... But I really do love it!
This month I used the latest from Freshly Made Sketches. For my first sample I kept exactly to the sketch. I even used a flower shape! I kept it quite CAS with a little stamping and a quick greeting. Done and done!
Supplies:
Stamps: Swirly Bird, Here For You
Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe
Paper: Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Swirly Scribbles dies, Big Shot
Then for my stepped up version, I added some ribbon (I really like this new striped ribbon! It is both pretty and soft!), changed up the stamps, and moved the greeting. I also popped the white panel up for dimension! Still quick and easy to make, but a little cuter and more effort! And I love these colors for summer, too!!
