I got a little stamping time today so I'm finally posting this.
I used the color combo from Global Design Project, which features three of the new In Colors I haven't even played with yet! ...I don't think... haha....!
Anyway, I used the markers because I hadn't decided which ink pads I was going to get. And markers sometimes give a not-entirely clear image. Thanks for pushing me over the edge guys...I need Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent for sure! haha!

Graduating Girl
This card is for a friend's daughter's graduation. The color combo at Sunday Stamps matched the shirt in her graduation announcement perfectly, so I had to use it! I also used the latest Freshly Made Sketch.
I used this fantastic stamp, and combined it with the March Paper Pumpkin, which is where the words come from, as well as the sunshine stencil. I sponged Balmy Blue all over the white panel but that's really hard to see....

Flower Garden
Today I have a scrapbook page that is the only thing I've made this week, and it is all about my current mental obsession- my flower garden in the front of my house. This is what it looks like right now, minus the top left photo.
The layout is for a scrapping friend, Cheryl, and uses one of her sketches too!

Paper Pumpkin!
I haven't done anything with my stack of Paper Pumpkin kits in a little while, (that needs to change...) but I did need a nice, masculine card and the March 2021 kit was perfect! So since I finally used it, here you go!
Design #1:
That kit made four of each card, and had some bonus supplies in it because the March kit is the "anniversary" kit. So lots to be made with it. Yeay!

December Daily 2020
In the crafting and scrapbooking world, there is a concept called December Daily. It's an Ali Edwards idea to create an album to capture one story a day for the month of December to scrap your holiday season. The idea is to do it ahead of time before you're too busy. The trouble is, for example, we don't get to go sledding every December because some times there isn't snow. And I don't know until I get there how many times we're going to bake, or what recipes we'll end up using. And things like that. So I have adapted the concept to work for me, kind of backwards from her method.
I've only done it three times, 2009, 2016 and now 2020. I "start" by saving my photos into daily folders on my computer. I take notes of what we did that day, funny quotes, whatever, and then later, after the holidays, hahaha, I put it together. This time, I ordered the 6x8 Album and four packs of the 6x8 photo pocket pages. I printed a LOT of photos, and I pulled out allll the various Christmas-themed Memories & More cards and older Project Life card packs Stampin' Up! has sold over the last few years. THIS ONE is still available on the Clearance Rack. I own that one, and at least four others. I laid them all out and got to work!
Here are some of the layouts:
It took me about six days total to put this little book together. Two to lay out and trim photos, one to pick pocket cards to help fill in and allow me to write the story, and three to write it all out, haha.... But now I have a small book, telling all about how we celebrated Christmas in 2020! We started decorating on Friday Nov 27, and it goes thru New Years Eve. It is 54 pages long (counting both sides of the page) with 32 journaling pockets, and every single day is mentioned.
And, my kids love it!

Retired birthday berries!
Today's card is for someone in particular who is a HUGE fan of berries, haha. I had to pull out this Sale-A-Bration set that retired in February. I used the Fab Friday Sketch, hmm....mostly....? and the birthday theme from Global Design Project for this card. Quick, sweet and perfectly mailable!
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Rich Razzleberry, Garden Green
Paper: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green & Basic White card stocks, Berry Delightful DP (retired)

Dandelions!
Good morning! Today I have a new scrapbook layout. This is for a challenge I issued, to use flowers in your layout, and since I wanted to play with current product at least once this week, hahaha, dandelions it is!
The photos were taken and printed in 2011, so it was good to get this scrapped!
Paper: Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Bumblebee
Is that a thing in your area of the world?

Floral Thanks
Today's card uses some newly retired items, but it was for a challenge so its fine, haha. Actually, I figured that since the SUO Color Challenge used two newly-retired colors I'd go ahead and use my favorite newly-retired stamp set too. And I used it my favorite way- to just stamp the whole panel! I combined it with the sketch from Just Add Ink.
Supplies:Honestly, I don't love the way I added a bit of Seaside Spray ink between the flowers. I used a Blender Pen and the ink pad, but it didn't work how I'd envisioned it. Oh well. I think it still turned out pretty and I think I know exactly who I'm going to send it to!
What are you making this week??

Scrapping Prom!
I'm still working on scrapbooking, so that's what you get to see!
This is a combination set. I printed photos and traditionally scrapped the first three pages, but the fourth page had to be digital, because the photos were texted to us... It was a looot of effort, but also a lot of fun having a girl get ready for a dance! A friend asked her and it was the first date for all four of these kids, thankyoucovid. It was also the first dance our school has had since the world shut down- We shut down on a Friday and they went ahead with the dance that Saturday evening...
I fussy cut flowers out of the super cute True Love DP, found in the mini catalog. I colored them with the just-retired Purple Posy marker, Pear Pizazz marker and the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend.
Supplies:
And here's some closeups for you!
And this one (below) was made in MDS, haha!

We Create Blog Hop: Technique Toss-up
For my card today, I wanted to try the "faux patina" technique. I saw a gorgeous card in recent weeks and have wanted to try it out, but I can't find the card that sparked the inspiration! If it was you, thank you, because this was fun!! You can find a great tutorial for it HERE. I also used the latest Freshly Made Sketch, and my card works for the latest SUO Challenge too!
As a reminder, the current catalog ends May 3rd, and the new one begins May 4! That's Tuesday! All of these products are still available EXCEPT the embossing folder...but I don't own any yet that are sticking around, so this is what I used! It was still available on the retiring list when I made the card Wednesday, so hurry and snag it for your own collection!
*sold out....
And then leave us your thoughts- we all love comments!
