My daughter went to a birthday party and didn't want to make the card herself. This is the card I put together, using a sketch I found on splitcoaststampers.com. I was having issues getting the ice cream scoops and cone to line up right, but after three tries remembered this card is for a 6 year old and it really, really doesn't matter! LOL! The greeting ended up smudging too, darnit.
Supplies:
Stamps: Sweet Scoops (retired)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake
Paper: Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Fancy Flower Punch, Black grosgrain ribbon, retired buttons
A few years ago I was more involved on Splitcoast and participated in the birthday card sending. I haven't done that in quite a while, but I got this one in the mail from someone anyway! It was funny becuase I had just claimed my favorite color was red, and it was the kind of day that this card was exactly what I needed....
Supplies:
Stamps: Morning Cup
Ink: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red?
Paper: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red? Patterns DP
Accessories: Ribbon Thread Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, White grosgrain

Oh Tanya I think the card for your daughter's friend is perfectly wonderful. And how fun to get some surprise snail mail.
