Goodbye hostess sets!

Since we are saying goodbye to these stamp sets, I thought I'd feature them, and make some cute cards for my friend.

Birds for Mother's day!

I realized just in the nick of time that I needed to make Mother's Day cards and get them in the mail!! So now that I am sure these have arrived, I can post them!

This first one uses this week's Mojo Monday sketch. When I saw the blocks on the sketch I thought of a paint chip card, so I have progressing shades of pink/red. This is a hostess set so its only available until the end of June. But I have had a lot of fun using it- especially these two images!

This card uses last weeks Mojo Monday sketch! I began by looking for a way to use my new bird punch! It was on back-order until the mini was almost done, and I haven't had a chance to use it til now! You'll see it more anyway...! I think I saw Andrea use this particular color combination (Apricot bird touched up with Regal Rose ink) and that's how I had to start!

Mojo Birthday!

Wow! I had such a productive {crafty} day yesterday! There will be posts for a few days! Yeay!
This pretty card uses Julee's Mojo Monday 124 sketch! I love that bird in shades of red and I have Rose Red buttons on hand, so that's what I picked! Pretty simple, but I like it!

Little tags

Soo, I got better, got some Christmas things done, and got sick again. :p But for now, all is well and I am trying to get some stamp creations done to share with you! (and, ya know...mail out! LOL!) Here's something I decided to try, and really like the result. I needed QUICK tags, but I also needed a bit of space to write in.... I've seen lots of times where people fold their card stock and then stay just off the edge with their punches or die cuts to make a card or other "open" project, so why not use the Tag Punch that way? So I did! Cute enough! :)

Still not feeling well, but I wanted to get this posted... I've had these pages done since Tuesday I think, but I had left the letter stamps at my mom's and just got the title done. Its been a really long time since I played in any of my weekly challenges I love... Tons going on, plus prepping for my Christmas Card classes. So I thought I'd change gears and use this fun new hostess set I got!

This card is BASED on Beate's sketch... LOL. the lines of paper are supposed to go the whole length of the card...and my circle is HUGE to fit the words on it. haha...
