Purple Elephant

The final card from my class today features this super sweet retiring stamp Elebration! This is the first time I've used it for a baby girl, or ya know, a toddler girl's birthday. Hence the pink and purple-ness, and isn't purple a cute shade for the elephant? I love it! I also like this fun way of emphasizing the sentiment by repeating it and making a pattern. So there you have it!
Supplies:
Stamps: Elebration, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Basic Gray, Wisteria Wonder
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Regal Rose, Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: In Color Printed Brads, Mat Pack, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens, White Bakers Twine

Baby Shower Invites!

I helped throw a baby shower for a friend, expecting her first little boy. Since I needed to make a bunch of these, I pulled out my retired card stocks and DP and used some things up!
This first variation (top, center) is my favorite. I have Bashful Blue card stock with some old Banbury DP.
Then (top right) I have Marina Mist card stock with some retired Wild Wasabi DP from a hostess 6x6 pack.
Finally, the three across the bottom, I have some very old Bayou Blue card stock with some old Pear Pizazz DP from a different hostess 6x6 pack!
They all have the same cute Elebration stamp, in Basic Gray ink, on Whisper White DP. I typed up the information, printed it off and attached it to the back, all using a darling free font I got HERE. (on her sidebar, under 25 favorite fonts - Little Days)

Baby Boy!

After a pretty great weekend, including a much-needed date night with my husband, its back to school and work for another week!
This card uses the Clean & Simple sketch 155, and will definitely be one of the cards we make at my class tomorrow! (last minute sign-ups, anyone??) One thing about using sketches in classes is it helps new card makers understand the value of sketches. If you have a starting point, there's less to think about {and worry about!} when creating a card!
I LOVE this cute baby elephant image and these colors for a baby boy! I will color the stamped image during the class, but I gotta say, I kinda like him in black and white!

Supplies:
Stamps: Elebration, Teeny Tiny Wishes
