I received the Patio Party DP for having a friend join Stampin' Up! during Sale-A-Bration. It is the only current DP I have right now, so its the only DP I'm using on my display board and you'd think I'd be getting tired of it. However, it has a nice variety of patterns that can be used in so many ways! That's where this DP comes from, yesterdays pink argyle, and the brighter, bolder patterns I've been using lately too! I really love the variety Stampin' Up! offers in their paper packs.
This color combination was reached by using the sweet little heart pattern with a thin ribbon that had a matching button...Daffodil Delight! I am really happy with it! annnd I'm convinced I need more words. Bigger words...! I used THIS sketch to create the card and kept it pretty clean and simple.

Masculine Valentine
mm...that title might be a little misleading.
I wanted to offer a valentine card that wouldn't bug a guy, lol, so no pink. I used this image on an anniversary card for my husband, with the words that it comes with and thought it would work for any husband.... Or by covering the inked words with tape (or using a marker to color the little guy), I cut out that message and had room to simply stamp "happy Valentines day", and now its great for any guy you know! Of course I colored this one to look like my son, hee hee
Supplies:
Stamps: Lean On Me, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Real Red
Accessories: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens, Cherry Cobbler Twine

Anniversary!!!
*my* anniversary. 12 years now, married to my best friend.
of course I made him a card. I even used a sketch! LOL! I changed the ribbon, and left off the tiny detail, but the basic sketch HERE is still in the card:
Supplies:
Stamps: Lean on Me
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: River Rock, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze & Whisper White card stocks, Well Worn DP
Accessories: Twill Tape, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens
Us then....
and us now....
what a journey it has been, and what a blessing to have him by my side.
Happy September!

Summer pages
Here's a layout I got done this week. I am pretty sure this is going to be part of my September scrapbook class. Just a cute, simple page for anything summery, or even springy that you need to have in your scrapbook! Click on it to better see the stamped details...those are from the Lean On Me stamp set, and if you use a bit of scotch tape to hide the words, or are careful while inking the stamp, the kids just look happy and playful, perfect for summer!
Supplies:
Stamps: Lean on Me, Just Perfect ABC
Ink: Basic Black, Early Espresso
Paper: Daffodil Delight card stock, Just Add Cake DP
Accessories: Whisper White grosgrain ribbon, Bitty Buttons, Mini Glue Dots
I got this fun Just Add Cake DP with the buy-3-get-1-free promotion! (the bit of lined paper on the second page is part of it!) That promotion is still available for another week or so! Let me know if you want to stock up!
And for those dying to know- I DID go pick raspberries for two hours, and we got 14 jars of jam made! And yes, it was very, very hot.

That's right....
another sympathy card. Next week school starts, and I will actually make a stack, and hey, work on some scrapbooking too! Until then, this will have to do.

Stamps: Lean on Me
Ink: Basic Black, Bashful Blue
Paper: Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue, Whisper White card stocks, Banbury DP (LONG retired)
Accessories: Silver brads, Stamping Sponge, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens, 2 Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter

New set, old paper!
I am sure that one day I will quit using retired product...but for now, this is what I have made. The DP on the whole face of the card is very long retired, but perfect for the occasion. A friend of mine is moving away. I brought her dinner so that she didn't have to worry about that, and had to include a card! This is the first time I got to use this set, but I have fun plans coming!
I used the latest Stamping 411 sketch and here's what I made!
Supplies:
Stamps: Lean On Me
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Whisper White, Welcome Neighbor DP (very retired)
Accessories: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens, Brights Brads, Scallop Edge Punch
