Paper Pumpkin for Birthdays Again!

Sale-A-Bration is still happening, and this is your reminder that signing up for pre-paid Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will earn you FREE Sale-A-Bration items! Don't miss out, because it ends Aug 31!

A few days ago I used four different old Paper Pumpkin kits to make a small stack of birthday cards, almost all of which are going out in the next few weeks...! This kit was my daughters' favorite so I'm starting here.
This kit came out August 2019 (The Gift Of Fall) and was a set of adorably small gift sacks and the supplies to make cute tags for them. I used the gift sacks, but I'm really not a tag person, so I use the supplies to make card fronts.

This one uses words from another, older Paper Pumpkin kit.

And these use a now retired stamp set from a previous Sale-A-Bration! Handy how that worked out...

Supplies:
Stamps: Sending You Thoughts, Paper Pumpkin kits
Ink: Merry Merlot
Paper: Crumb Cake card stock, Paper Pumpkin kit
Accessories: August 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit, Dimensionals

Paper Pumpkin for Birthdays!

Well, I don't know how your month is going, but I am feeling pretty darn good about working on the goals I set for myself! I have managed to walk every week day, I have read every week day, and I'm doing great with my papercrafting goals too!

Today, in fact, I'm showing off a very old Paper Pumpkin kit I still haven't used all the bits from, hahaha! This was from June of 2015, and this is what I made this past weekend:
Supplies:
Stamps: Party Wishes, Perfect Pennants, Sending You Thoughts
Ink: memento Black, Bermuda Bay, Just Jade
Paper: basic white card stock
Accessories: Happy Thoughts Paper Pumpkin kit (June 2015)

That's six more birthday cards!! And I've selected exactly who three are going to!
And this is what is still left over! But I called it quits, haha....

The DP was all supposed to be envelope liners. The top of the wood bits made the center bottom card. Fun, huh? I am pretty excited. The buttons are in my button jar, the twine is with my other embellishments, and the rest are all flat and fit nicely in my over-full book of bits.

Maybe one of these days I'll get my craft room done and show you what I'm talking about. hahaha... don't hold your breath.... I have other things to do!

Daddy Birthday

Today I have another masculine card for you, and again with the retiring products! (Seriously tho- they are selling out so hurry and order if you want it!)
I combined the sketch from The Paper Players and the colors from the As You See It challenge for this sweet card for my daughter to give her father for his birthday. For the girl's hair I used Soft Suede lines and then went over it with So Saffron. Stampin' Blends work better, but that's what I had, ha! I did sneak in a tiny bit of blue marker for the water at his feet, but I like how it turned out.
Supplies:
Stamps: A Good Man, Sending You Thoughts (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Soft Suede marker, Lovely Lipstick marker (retiring!), Call Me Clover marker (retiring!), So Saffron marker, Blueberry Bushel marker (retiring!)
Paper: Soft Suede, Call Me Clover & Whisper White card stock
Accessories: Dimensionals

Pick A Greeting!

Here's the third card for my upcoming class with the same sketch as the last two. (the guitar card on page 57 of the Occasions Mini)
For this card, I used the color combination from TGIF Challenges. Again, I had picked something similar and then I made it work for this specific challenge! I wanted to use this cute Sale-A-Bration greeting set, so I'm going to let people choose their own phrase to make the card their own.
Supplies:
Stamps: Sending You Thoughts
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Lovely Lipstick, Basic Black, Old Olive & Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Pearlized Doilies, Country Floral Embossing Folder, Big Shot

And here's a slightly better shot of the detail on the Olive panel. Love that!!
Want to come make these cards? Let me know so I can prep your supplies!
