My class was lots of fun yesterday! Next time we'll be doing "Christmas in July" so let me know if you want to come!
I'm still working on filling my board (for a while, lol!) and this time I wanted to play with the new ink pad I got! I used the latest Fall to Layout sketch, and I kept this card quick and simple again, but there's that new color- Gorgeous Grape!
Supplies:
Stamps: Love What You Do
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Lemon Lime Twist, Crumb Cake
Paper: Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist

to fill up my board...
I have a stamp class tomorrow and since it's my first event with the new catalog, I really need to fill up my display board! So I stole a little time and here is my first creation!
This uses the only new-to-the-catalog set I own so far, haha, but I used different images from the set and a whole different color scheme! I also used the current Freshly Made Sketch. It made a cute, and quick card, which is exactly what I needed!
Supplies:
Stamps: Love What You Do
Ink: Stazon Black, Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizazz
Paper: Whisper White & Cherry Cobbler card stocks
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler stitched ribbon, Glue Dots
Off to keep prepping for my class!

Kites!
This is the fourth card designed for my upcoming card class. I've had the idea in my head a long time, I just haven't had a chance to play with it yet! Cute, sweet and simple! The sky is "watercolored" with Coastal Cabana ink and an Aquapainter.
And tip: Stamp the solid part of the kite first, then add the lined part. Otherwise it comes out wonky, which I don't understand, but keep experiencing!
Supplies:
Stamps: Swirly Bird
Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, Smoky Slate
Paper: Flirty Flamingo & Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Dimensionals
But the funny thing was, as my sky was drying and I was literally pulling the kite stamp off the plastic, my daughter asked if we owned any kite stamps she could use on the page she was making for the week. "Well....there's this one..." haha! She loved it and used it as soon as I cleaned it!
Yep, I'm having my kids make at least one scrapbook page per week this summer again. Because sure enough, they're stillcomplaining commenting that they have so many events not scrapped, and I really haven't had any time! Her pages have been extremely simple, as you can see, but I like them having the creative time, and I like that they're working on their stack of photos! And maybe I'll scrapbook some time soon anyway....

Very Old Stamps
Earlier this week I went to my parents for a couple days. My mom needed a graduation card made, and since her house is where all my retired stamps go to live, haha, (in addition to her own stash) I used a very long retired stamp set for the card. I think it had a date of 2002 on it? SO old.... I think it was called Great Graduation? I can't even remember. I also used the long retired Watercolor Wonder Crayons to color the images. But! I used the latest Clean & Simple sketch, other than I flipped it...
Supplies:
Stamps: Great Graduation? (retired)
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Whisper White & Night of Navy card stocks
Accessories: 1 inch circle punch, 1 1/4 inch circle punch, Blender Pens, Watercolor Wonder Crayons (retired)

Stamps: Colorful Seasons
Ink: Smoky Slate, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry
Paper: Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry & Melon Mambo card stocks

Birthday Bonus
My teenage son needed a birthday card for a teenage guy, and my stash is totally depleted of anything teen friendly, haha... I asked if he knew the guy's favorite colors and he blankly said "um....red? and gray?" So that's what he got! Yeay boys!
I figured balloons were quite birthday-ish without being specifically related to a hobby or interest. ...the balloon stamps I have come from a the May 2015 Paper Pumpkin kit!!! And for the gray, I pulled out a Halloween DP from a couple years ago! I'm posting today because I used the latest Clean & Simple sketch and the clock is running out to link up! So, long-retired stuffs' the day after the catalog is released. There's some real life for ya. But it's quick and I think it turned out nice.

For my project, of course I wanted to switch to using only new and current supplies. I also used a new-to-me sketch, at The Paper Players. Their sketch fit my cute adirondack die cut chair perfectly. I hadn't used the lemonade cup before and I'm glad I did- such a cute little touch! I also hadn't done summer leaves with this set yet, so that was fun too.
Supplies:
Stamps: Colorful Seasons
Ink: Pear Pizazz, Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry
Paper: Whisper White, Pear Pizazz card stocks, Wood Textures DP
Accessories: Burlap Ribbon, Seasonal Layers Thinlit Dies, Big Shot, Glue Dots
Let me know what you think about my card today, and then hop on thru to see everyone else's. We have some new-to-us bloggers in our hop today, and I'm excited to have them join us! Go see what they made to inspire you!
