Pastel Friend

Happy Friday! We made it another week! Today is a busy one at my house, starting with a school field trip to a farm!

Today's card uses the colors from Color Throwdown. They said "lavender, mint green and yellow" so I chose Fresh Freesia, Soft Seafoam and Lemon Lolly. I stamped in the purple and green and used a Blending Brush to add the yellow. And I rather love it. This one also gets to go on my display board!
Supplies:
Stamps: Spotlight on Nature
Ink: Fresh Freesia, Soft Seafoam and Lemon Lolly
Paper: Soft Seafoam, Basic White card stocks
Accessories: Striped Trim ribbon, Dimensionals, Blending Brush

Beside Me

Today, once more,  I have a card featuring some retiring products. The stamps and the dots are on their way out! I used the "travel" theme from The Paper Players, and the colors from Hand Stamped Sentiments, and while the layout is a little weird, I still like the result!
Supplies:
Stamps: Watercolor World, Beside Me (both retiring)
Ink: Summer Splash, Pecan Pie, Pretty Peacock
Paper: Pretty Peacock & Basic White card stocks
Accessories: Tinsel Gems Three Pack (retiring), Dimensionals

The gems are supposed to be Lost Lagoon, but it sure looks Summer Splash to me....! Both of these stamp sets are discounted (as of typing this) so you will definitely want to snag them asap!

Birthday Cupcake!

And THIS card makes today a three-fer, so I can get this one in before the deadline too! Wow... I didn't realize how many challenges were ending! But hooray for a crafty afternoon!!

I used the color combination from Just Add Ink, and since the colors are all sticking around, I used a stamp that is also sticking around! Yeay! I used a Blender Pen and ink pad to color in the image so it's not the *best coloring job, but it works. The dots I used are retiring, but it's fiiine. haha....
Supplies:
Stamps: Arched Wishes
Ink: Smoky Slate, Petunia Pop, Balmy Blue, Soft Seafoam
Paper: Petunia Pop, Soft Seafoam & Basic White card stocks
Accessories: 2024-26 In Color Resin Dots, Dimensionals, Blender Pen

Butterfly Birthday

This card makes today a two-fer, so I can get this one in before the deadline, ha!
I combined the colors listed in the Festive Friday challenge with the Inkspirational challenge to use two sentiments! The card supplies for this one are all sticking around so this gets to go on my rather empty display board! Yeay!
Supplies:
Stamps: Beautiful Butterflies
Ink: Fresh Freesia, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Basic White, Lemon Lolly card stocks
Accessories: Party Dots, Dimensionals, Circle Dies (retired), big shot (retired)

Umbrella Girls

Happy Tuesday! A bit earlier posting today, lol. Hoping to get a lot of things done today, starting with card making!

This super cute stamp set is retiring, and this is the one I am the most sad about. I have definitely not played with this one enough! The taller person has a long braid and the smaller person could absolutely be a little boy, but in my head, these are my two girls, ha.

As soon as I saw the latest Inspired By... challenge with their pretty photo, I knew what I wanted to do! I die cut the umbrellas instead of coloring them. I used the watercolor pencils just as pencils to color the girls, nothing fancy. Then they're popped up on Dimensionals. That paper was kiinda perfect, altho I was looking for a different shade. It's fine- it also works with the little girl's pants!

I think I know who this is going to, altho it could go to a few different people...
Supplies:
Stamps: Umbrella Days (retiring)
Ink: Memento Black, Blueberry Bushel
Paper: Lemon Lolly, Basic White card stocks, Bright & Beautiful DP (retiring)
Accessories: Regal Foiled Dots (retiring), Watercolor Pencils, Umbrella Days Dies (retiring), Dimensionals, big shot (retired)

Follow Your Dreams

Happy Monday!! Life is back to "normal" today, whatever that means, and I still didn't get anything created til after 4pm!

This one combines the colors and texture from the inspiration photo from SUO Challenges and the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. And I'm too late for the sketch! That's okay- I like how this turned out and I know who is getting this card!

Since I was using almost-retired colors, I went ahead and chose a retired stamp set too. And the dots are retiring too. I love these dots and I love Copper Clay. Not so much with the Wild Wheat but I have two kids who like it, so I've stocked up on the 12x12 paper for their scrapbooks.
Supplies;
Stamps: Elements of Text, Lighting The Way (retired)
Ink: Basic Beige, Wild Wheat, Copper Clay
Paper: Wild Wheat, Basic Beige
Accessories: Earth Tones Shimmer Gems, Perennial Postage Dies, big shot (retired)
