I really need more thank you cards, so today I combined the colors from The Paper Players with the sketch from TGIF Challenges. It is also a perfect match for the Just Add Ink challenge since I used trees and ink blending!
I ended up doing the rectangles too tall to fit a standard card, so I made a slimline card- maybe for the first time? I really don't like non-standard size cards because I don't know how to cut the cardstock without wasting too much... But I'd already stamped and blended this bit so thaaat's what I had to do! haha!

Beautiful! I love the slimline design. Your shading really sets off the image and the sentiment. Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love a happy accident? Your tall card suits the tall tree perfectly. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink.
ReplyDeleteI love making slimline cards but your right, you have to alter layer sizes, which can be interesting, at least in my experience ha ha! I love how you divided the tree into two panels plus added a border of smaller tree images. Very beautiful! Thank you so much for joining over at The Paper Players!
