With Sympathy

Hello again, and welcome to March!

Today's card was a last second decision to send a sympathy card. A young man who is my sons age, and he was also in my husband's boy scout group a few years ago, passed away from cancer last week. I haven't interacted with this family much for the last few years, because we moved away and they moved away, but I sent his mother a card. We still live within the same community, so I was able to determine her address.

I used a Blending Brush to add some Soft Seafoam to the card front (and honestly, whatever other shades are on the brush). Then I stamped off once, the text stamp in Garden Green. I fussy cut out the leaf, and popped it up on Dimensionals. The greeting has been retired a few years, but it was a nice sympathy word, so it's good. The dots are also long retired, but it's fine. They're actually Wild Wasabi colored, ha.
