Scrapping Valentines!

I got a scrapbook page done this week, for the first time in almost a month! A lot of retired supplies show up here, but the colors and the ribbon are current and sticking around too! The photos are old too, so it all works, haha!

This page was actually for a challenge to use the following letters "on" the page:
A- Alphabet stamps
P- Patterned paper, punch, pink
R- Red, ribbon
I- Ink
L- Lace, layers

Supplies:
Stamps: Just Perfect Alphabet (retired!)
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Petal Pink, Basic Black, Poppy Parade, Flower & Field DP (retired in March)
Accessories: Scalloped Lace Trim, Sweetheart Punch (retired!)

What are you making this week?

Birthdays!

Happy Monday to you!
Today I have two birthday cards because this week we have three important birthdays in our {extended} family that needed cards! Fortunately none of the birthday girls live in the same house, so making two possible card options that "match" was totally okay!

For these, I used the latest Freshly Made Sketch and a whole assortment of different supplies! For one thing, I used the 'snowbank' die from the In The Woods framelits, which are about to retire. I used this pretty floral print that was part of the Sale-a-Bration freebies in January and February. I used a birthday greeting from my almost-retired Gorgeous Posies stamp set and I put that on the two punches from the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch!

Supplies:
Stamps: Gorgeous Posies (retiring)
Ink: Just Jade, Flirty Flamingo
Paper: Basic White, Just Jade, Flirty Flamingo,  Flower & Field DP (retired)
Accessories: Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, In The Woods Framelits (retiring), Dimensionals

and a couple close-ups...

Retiring In Colors Set!

Today I have a full set of cards! I used the sketch from Fusion Card Challenge, and finally got to play with some of this beautiful DP from the January - June Mini Catalog! I liked this paper as soon as I saw it, but once I saw other people coloring in the flowers, I had to have it. Except this was the first time I cut into it! I picked this little daisy print because I love daisies. I cut it to match the sketch, then colored in a few flowers on each strip, with each of the 2019-2021 In Colors. I added strips of ribbon, some are retiring, a few are sticking around. Then I used this retiring word set (which is fantastic, btw, and you really do need to own this) for a variety of greetings.

So, here's the set...
And for some closeups, here's a couple of birthday cards:

a Mother's Day card:
a friend card:
and a thinking of you or thank you kind of card:
Supplies:

Comfort & Peace

I am in need of a sympathy card and this challenge ended up perfect. The As You See It Challenge was to make a card inspired by spring blossoms, in 10 minutes or less. I am happy with how it turned out and I really think it's perfect for my friend, so it is on it's way now!
The stamp set, and the Rococo Rose ink and card stock (peeking out from behind the front panel) are both on their way out, and I love both, so that makes me sad too. Don't miss out on your chance to get these lovely items!

Supplies:
Stamps: Gorgeous Posies
Ink: Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, Rococo Rose, Mint Macaron
Paper: Mint Macaron, Rococo Rose, Whisper White

CASEing the Catalog!

Today's card features another stamp set and die set that are about to be retired. I haven't come close to using ALL the stamps, or dies, but, I do love the contrasting fonts and I have used this stamp and die set a lot! The ribbon is also about to retire, if you're keeping track. The happy color sticks around tho, so you can definitely get some mileage out of this sweet, simple ribbon if you order it now.

I used the SUO Challenge to CASE the catalog! CASE means "copy and share everything" and it is one of the reasons we crafters post our creations. So in my case, I used an idea in the catalog to create my card. I went to page 46 where this stamp set is, but first I landed on page 45, where it also shows the very same stamped word I used, on a card that got my brain thinking! (the Petal Pink card with the three balloons...) I repeated one half of the die cut greeting, and stamped the second half. I also used the leafy die cut for the other side of the card in place of the balloons. I kept the embellishments to a minimum, because this is going to be for my brother.

Supplies:
Stamps: Well Said
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Paper: Just Jade, Shaded Spruce & Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Bumblebee 2020-2021 In Color Ribbon, Well Written dies, Dimensionals, Fine Tip Glue Pen, Big Shot

Together!

Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a lovely Easter weekend! Today is the first day of our Spring Break so I sent the kids to the park while I got a little stamping time in!
Today's card is posted too late to participate, but I did use the Freshly Made Sketch for it! I'm trying to use my soon-to-retire supplies as well as make cards for specific people and events! This week will be full of almost-gone products! (and posts!!)
On this card, for example, the stamps are going, the embossing folder on the card base, the ribbon, and the cute little resin heart- and this is my first time opening the ribbon or heart! I am so going to miss this cute couple, they are one of my favorite images ever!
I added some sponging, because that's what I often do with this cute couple, haha, but this time I sponged it in Rich Razzleberry so it wasn't quite so dark. I think that worked out fantastically.
Supplies:
Stamps: Silhouette Scenes
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride card stocks
Accessories: Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon, Resin Hearts, Tin Tile embossing folder, Dimensionals Big Shot

If you're interested in having any of these cute things in your own stamping stash, you'll want to place an order very soon!
