Tulips & Windmills

Happy Monday!

Yep, still have lots of projects to share with you! Just a quick reminder that TODAY is the last day of Sale-A-Bration, so you'll want to place your order now!

Today's card uses this gorgeous Tulip Fields stamp set, partnered with the Inspired Thoughts stamp set. This is also going to be part of my upcoming class.

Stamps: Tulip Fields, Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Cinnamon Cider, Smoky Slate
Paper: Flirty Flamingo, Basic White
Accessories: Dimensionals

And here's a tip on lining up that top row of tulips to then better line up the rest of them. For me, I used the grid scratch paper, which right now we sell in four varieties! Anyway, I line up the bottom of my paper with the grid, then I hold a scrap paper across, lined up with the grid, to place the windmill. Then I line the top of the tulip stamp, so that it lines up with the grid too. I promise it does, even if the picture doesn't look like it.
Clear as mud? haha.... Give it a try.
Then I center the bottom row of tulips, then I stamp the others in to fill it in. I think I need a hair more practice to space them a bit better, but either way, good results!

Scrappy Saturday!

The most amazing part of this past month and me vanishing is that we went on a much-needed family vacation! It was our longest and most "checked out" vacation ever, and it was amazing! We went to Disneyland (first time for two of us) and the beach (first time for three of us) and had such a great time!!! And since everyone is anxious to hurry back, hahaha, I am scrapping our adventures as quickly as I can so that at least we can savor the memories in a book...or two! And I'm so excited about this project, I've gotten 15 pages done already!

As you should know well, lol, I use retired product in my scrapping. A lot of this album will be made digitally, but some is going to be made traditionally. Here's one of the first pages I made after we got home, and this was made with the long retired MDS. It's a pretty simple page, but the MDS software is so old, it no longer recognizes additional fonts, so I created the page in MDS, then had to put it thru Publisher to add the text in the Mickey font! So it took longer than I'd hoped, but I love how it turned out!

Colors: Poppy Parade, Gold Glimmer, Wisteria Wonder mats
Font: Mickey

I'm back!

It has been almost a exactly month since I've had anything to blog, and what. a month. it has been. Holy cow. Some really hard things, some really amazing things. Yesterday I was finally cranking out the stamped projects, so I have some stuff to share!!!

First, I want to start with this cute little girl again. She is only available until Monday, Feb 28, so if you love this stamp set, don't miss out!! Hurry and get your order placed! If you ordered exactly these supplies, you'd qualify to get that sweet stamp set for FREE! If you already have some of these supplies, you can choose other fun things!

I think we're going to make this one at an upcoming card class, so if you love something else from our Sale-A-Bration selection, that's okay too! You can come to my class and make this! This time I colored her with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. And I think it's the first time I made her blonde.
