I must apologize for not posting more, blogger has been giving me issues and ya know, the holidays are busy!! Anyway, back to the projects! *grin
Remember a few weeks ago I had a workshop? My friend, the hostess, is interested in making tags for Christmas gifts. I demonstrated one and brought some other very quick tags to show. (They also made a nice little hostess gift for her!) My mom had attended a stamp camp several years ago now, and I was inspired by what I remembered from those tags, especially the cute candy one!
Tis the season for gift-giving, maybe you'd like some ideas for very quick, simple tags to attach to whatever it is you're giving! Also, it gives you a reason to stamp while crossing off that holiday to-do list!

A little more birthday...
So sorry I haven't posted much this month. I'm sure you all know how summertime goes and you steal a little crafty time when you can...and when you can't, well, that usually means we're off creating memories to scrap later, lol!
I do have my son's birthday card to share... I thought this set was appropriate because he's reached a milestone age and is definitely entering an adventurous future!
Supplies:
Stamps: Daring Adventure
Ink: Always Artichoke, Early Espresso & Midnight Muse Markers
Paper: Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso card stocks, Well Worn DP (retired)
Accessories: Regals Brads, Mat Pack
And here are the thank you notes he's writing up for his friends. I love this note card style that Becky Roberts shares. These are much simpler, since they're thank you notes for children, lol, but its a quick and fun style of card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Sweets for the Sweet, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Lucky Limeade, Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Pumpkin Pie & Whisper White card stocks

Christmas Candy!
Since I'm borrowing this Sweets for the Sweet stamp set from my mom (to help me fill up my board!) I thought this week's sketch from Stamping 411 was perfect for a quick Christmas card! Not to mention how yummy those peppermint candies look! LOL!
Also, this is the first time I've used the new Gumball Green. It works well for this Christmas card but you know what it would be absolutely perfect for? Frogs and turtles. It is SUCH a great reptile green! Off hand, there's a frog in the new Ronald McDonald set, a turtle in a new baby set, and ooo! the dinosaurs, aliens and monster stamp sets!!
And as a side note, I'm having a hard time stamping my greetings straight...do I need glasses? I don't know what the issue is but its kind of driving me crazy.
Supplies:
Stamps: Sweets for the Sweet, Come to Bethlehem
Ink: Real Red, Basic Gray
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Gumball Green card stocks
Accessories: Real Red thin Taffeta ribbon

Fun Birthday Card
Yes I am still working on filling up my display board!
Today's card uses two stamp sets and a smattering of new In Colors for a fun, summery look. I used the current Clean & Simple sketch.
I thought the pinwheels were a fun little thing to line up like that. I popped the pinwheels and the banner greeting up on dimensionals to make the card a little more interesting. And its also a handy way of dealing with the pinwheel sticks! *grin
Supplies:
Stamps: Sweets for the Sweet, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink: Pool Party, Island Indigo, Raspberry Ripple, Lucky Limeade
Paper: Pool Party, Raspberry Ripple & Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Dimensionals
