Stamps By Mail Kit!

Saturday is WORLD CARD MAKING DAY! Did you know? Do you have a plan? Well, I have other plans actually, but I LOVE the idea...!

In honor of World Card Making Day, I am offering my own Kit! You can order the stamps and markers and I will cut your paper/ribbon supplies and mail it to you. You'll be ready to make 12 quick thank-you cards any time you want! (three of each) Thanksgiving is coming up soon, and that's a really nice time to send thank you cards...

Added bonus? Buying this set sends $2 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities!

So! Here are the cards you will make...

And for only $45, you'll have the stamps and markers to use as long as you like, plus the supplies -and instructions- to make 12 cards instantly! (If you were to buy the markers and stamp set another time, with shipping costs it would be just over $38)

Just let me know if you're interested in this cute little kit! I will put the order in on October 15th.

Country Morning

I got this hostess set this past month and this is the first chance I've had to play with it. Yep, I LOVE it!!! I made this for a late birthday card, and used Beate's Friday sketch. I did flip it, but that's because I stamped the flowers too close to the wrong side of the card stock, LOL!

Chic Challenges!

I haven't played with a challenge in SO LONG. I look every time I know there is one and I think up some great plan....and that's as far as it goes! There's been a lot going on (is it going to slow down...ever?!). But today, I finally put some ideas together this afternoon (using two challenges) and as I went to photo it, my daughter picked it up and gasped "oh! This card is so beautiful, mom! Did you make it?!" ....she just watched me make it.... lol!

So! I used Beate's Friday sketch (the kind that is JUST my style!) combined with the Cinema challenge. Does this say "Pretty Woman" to you? Well....if not, pretend it does! *grin* however...i didn't paper-piece, I embossed instead....Ohhh! Unless you count the button...that's sort of pieced.....!

Supplies:

Stamps: Upsy Daisy

Ink: Versamark, Real Red Paper: Soft Suede DP, Soft Suede & Whisper White card stock Accessories: Pretties Kit, Clear Buttons, Linen Thread, White Organza Ribbon, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Stamping Sponge

Anniversary!

Ok, this was too fun! On SCS there was a bunch of scrap challenges to do pages on yourself. The point is we are always taking pictures of and therefore scrapping our family and loved ones, and we rarely show up in pictures, much less pages. I was excited about these challenges, I just don't have the photos printed for these pages... Buuuut...!!! This week was my 10th wedding anniversary and I snapped this picture of us. I love it, love it, love it! Now...what to do with it to make it special? Find a challenge about Then and Now and find a wonderful wedding picture as the contrast!!! WHOO! (and while looking, I found this cute FIRST picture of us!) So HERE is what I made!!!
Really, I really love it. It was a lousy evening, but I was dancing while sitting on the floor putting this together! Our wedding colors were dark green and a cream color, and the flowers were white daisies and yellow roses. Well, guess who has been hoarding some yellowy paper with white daises on it? That's right! LOL! Goodness, I love it! haha! Supplies:
Stamps: Taffy ABC, Ever After Ink: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron Paper: Kraft, Barely Banana & Chocolate Chip card stocks, Spring Showers DP (retired) Accessories: Loads of Letters Chipboard, Chocolate Taffeta Ribbon, Pretties Kit, Button Latte, Jumbo Brads, Linen Thread
