New Catalog is Coming!

I hadn't had a chance to make my March/April swap til I was way overdue! I hate that! Life has been much busier than I expected, even with allllllll the things I totally knew about. I dislike underestimating things, haha.....

But, I got to stamp, and I got to play with new toys! Wahoo!!
....and then I was late to link the sketch I used...yep, that's how it's going right now, haha...It was the Mojo Monday sketch from two weeks ago... So I went ahead and posted it even later so I could feature brand new catalog products just before it goes live! (that'd be Wednesday at 3am MT!) You're welcome! hahaha......

Oh well, I'm happy with my creation!
Supplies:
Stamps: Number of Years
Ink: Melon Mambo
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black & Melon Mambo card stocks, Pop Of Pink DP
Accessories: Big Shot, Swirly Scribbles thinlits, Silver 1/8 inch ribbon, Glue Dots

I actually ran out of the ribbon I wanted to use, just before I finished them all, darnit. But I found a decent substitute...
And I am excited to play more with the Swirly Scribbles dies!! SO many ideas...!

Paper Pumpkin for May

This month's Paper Pumpkin kit is called Many Manly Occasions, and I finally had a chance to play with it right on my brother's birthday! *ahem.... Fortunately he was on his way to my parents, and that's where I was, so my daughter just set up his birthday cards in the room he uses when he stays, and he was surprised with that, haha!  And I was glad I could whip up one more quick card so there were enough!
Supplies:
May 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit

It was super quick to put together, and I didn't even need adhesive this time! This set has a stamped word for all the men in your life, just in time for Father's Day, but the above card could really go to anyone.

If the video works, check it out here:

Saffron Birthday

Annnd another week blew by with no posts at all....
Once again I had to steal some craft time, but! The house is under contract and all the steps (inspection...assessment...) are moving along nicely...! We even have a date we plan to be moving out on, and since we're more than half way moved out that should work out just fine! YIKES!
It is also the last week of school, which...is...pretty much a waste, haha.... Just a lot of early mornings!

This is the last card made for the card job I mentioned clear back HERE. This one is pretty simple and very straightforward.

I used the newest Freshly Made Sketch and some retiring products. I have used Summer Silhouettes SO many times that sometimes I get tired of it. I think I'll still miss it anyway. But I really like this color combination, and I like the almost-frayed burlap ribbon peeking out the side- which is also retiring! I cut the ribbon in half the long way to help it fray, and to reduce the bulk. Also it feels like a long time since I've used So Saffron, which is a shade I have always liked!
Supplies:
Stamps: Summer Silhouettes (retiring!) Number of Years
Ink: So Saffron, Tip Top Taupe, Calypso Coral, Old Olive
Paper: So Saffron, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Burlap Ribbon (retiring!)

And if you're curious, here are the cards that I have sent this customer! Only six ended up birthday specific, and the others were also requested. It was really nice to have an excuse to create over the last several weeks!

Choose Happiness

Happy Wednesday! I have another card for you today!!

Today's rather simple card was inspired by THIS one on Pinterest, but I changed up the color combo and I really like the striking colors on the white!
Supplies:
Stamps: Choose Happiness
Ink: Real Red, Memento Black
Paper: Whisper White card stocks, In Color Envelope Paper
Accessories: Dimensionals

This stamp set is retiring, so if you love it, order it soon!! The striped paper is retiring too. I cut a corner off the 12x12 sheet and trimmed them down into strips.
Simple and pretty!

Pale Blue Thank You

Happy Monday to you! I have a card all ready to go!!

This time it is not a birthday card, haha, but it could be if you swapped out the word choices. I really wanted to play with the bonus set for Paper Pumpkin subscribers, and I love the fonts they chose, so I needed to use both styles, haha! I used a sketch from Viva La Verve a couple weeks ago for the layout.
Supplies:
Stamps: All About Everything
Ink: Smoky Slate, Lost Lagoon, Mint Macaron, Soft Sky,
Paper: Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White
Accessories: Paper Doilies

I think the Lost Lagoon piece needs some texture, but my Big Shot is not at my house right now...sniff sniff... But, I think the card turned out really soft and pretty as it is, and that is just going to have to be good enough!

Let's see if there is more stamping later this week, shall we?

Bright Birthday Card!

Happy Friday to you! And it IS a happy day because I finally got to stamp!!!

Ordinarily at this time of year I would be cranking out cards using soon-to-be-gone supplies and featuring teacher gifts....
Instead we are keeping the house as clean as possible for showings, and anything that could possibly be considered 'clutter' is living elsewhere. Including 99% of my stamp supplies! I did get to bring home a very few supplies, and my card stash, which means I can now put together teacher gifts using the things I had already made... but that also means very little to share with you!

But for today, I have this...using current colors and supplies but retired stamps....
Supplies:
Stamps: All About Everything Paper Pumpkin, Banner Blast (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Cucumber Crush
Paper: Cucumber Crush, Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Banner Punch

Well, only the banner uses retired stamps. The birthday greeting comes from the beautiful, bonus stamp set included as a thank you in April's Paper Pumpkin kit! So it isn't available actually, so I guess that makes it retired too?? haha.......
*There is a similar banner set found on page 101 of the catalog that is also retiring if you love this idea! The punch is retiring too, and on sale for only $9.10 so don't miss out!

I stamped the banner images then punched them out. Then I laid them on the card where I wanted them before gluing them down. Quick and cute and happy and bright! Perfect for a birthday!

Missing my stamps....

Yes, I know, I missed a whole week of posting, plus. but......my house is listed, if that counts for anything!
(it totally counts at my house!!!)

I haven't created anything myself lately, I even had to miss out on some deadlines! But I do have a few stamped samples to share with you today, in case you need some inspiration!
These are all so fun and pretty in their own way and I love the variety of colors! I hope you do too!
