Change of Plan...

really. Who leaves home with watercolor-able stamps and forgets any watercoloring tools?! Sigh. LOL! I got to play with my new stamps tho, and threw in a little of the new colors. We will make *some* version of these cards at my August card class...! This is the one I would have really liked to watercolor, but it turned out just fine in black. Supplies:
Stamps: Uncharted Territory, Occasional Quotes
Ink: Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Basic Black
Paper: Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, Whisper White
Accessories: Twill Tape, Staples

Peach & Pumpkin!

Are you ready for my classes to start up again? I sure am!!! I have missed you all this summer! So this week I'll post a few sneak peeks to my August Class! This is the first!

I used a fun little color combination. I have the brand new Peach Parfait ink and ribbon, with Pumpkin Pie card stock and ink for the words. Very Vanilla is the card front. I also used my new level 3 hostess set for the words! Yeay!

Pink for a boy!

Yep, even with a boy book, you can use pink! Throw in pics of a sister, a mom, a friend and you got it! Here's two more pages, and these two will face each other in the book.

Boy Birthday

So, my son's birthday is this week... he's a little young for the target-audience you would think of when you first see this stamp set, but I thought it could be pretty versatile. Here's my first design with it...

Stamps: Grunge Rock
Ink: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Versamark
Paper: Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie & Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Spiral Punch, Silver Brads

And this is the card my mom made and sent him. The set was in the Spring mini and is so cute!

A digi card!

I got my first digital card printed thru Stampin' Up! delivered today (along with a bunch of other new goodies!!!). It turned out pretty darn cute! Here's how it came....
The outside, and the inside...
here it is ready to be written in and sent...

The nifty thing about making cards with My Digital Studio is that they have pre-designed cards that you can use the layout for, but change it up with your own style. So I thought it would be fun to have an altered card to show at workshops. Later I'll add the original design for my card!

What do you think?? Pretty cool actually. And you can print them at home too!

I stamped!

Its been a long time, but last night I stuck some rubber to paper and this is what I got...

The stamp set is current, but I used some retired colors...

Supplies:

Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Curvy Verses
Ink: Mellow Moss (retired), Cameo Coral (retired), Perfect Plum
Paper: Blush Blossom (retired)

I made this for my sister because she adopted a friend's runt kitty and it died.

Green & Stars

Here's another (old pics!) digi page I made sometime in June.
I do have lofty goals of paper-crafting, and I even have a fun order I've placed that I am anxiously awaiting arrival...!
