No Stamp Princesses

I haven't gotten to create like I hoped because helloooo school germs... we had a super sicky weekend. Cleaning is more important than stamping this week, lol, so here are some simple but fun pages I made a few months ago.

This reeally old DP (like, 2005 here) was perfect for meeting Belle!

Supplies: (all retired but the Vanilla)
Paper: Very Vanilla card stock, Timeworn Collection Paper Heirloom DP
Accessories: Embroidered Ribbon, Vintage Trinkets
Journaling Font: Janda Stylish Script

And some shiny gold with white flowers was perfect for Tiana!
Supplies: (all retired)
Paper: Certainly Celery, Gold Foil
Accessories: Paper Daisies, Glitter Enamel Dots
Journaling Font: Fairwater Script

One fun thing about these princess pages was choosing fonts that could have been their handwriting, haha. I got my kids' input on choosing fonts too!

Bright Happiness!

Happy Monday to you! I am sure hoping for some serious crafty time this week...!

I got this one done quickly this morning, combining three different challenges! I used the colors from the Color Throwdown, the sketch from The Paper Players, and the challenge from TGIF Challenges! And this one gets to go on my display board! (almost every card I've made for the past two years is sent out in the following week or so! That display board has been too bare too long!)

Supplies:
Stamps: Happiness Abounds
Ink: Starry Sky
Paper: Crushed Curry, Starry Sky, Tahitain Tide
Accessories: Brushed Brass Butterflies, Blossoming Happiness dies, Dimensionals, big shot

It's not a color combo I would have thought of, but I think it worked out pretty well! And no white card stock, just like the TGIF challenge asked for, haha!

Paper Pumpkin Kits = Birthday Cards!

Seeing a theme here? haha... This is the fifth post this year with roughly the same title. And these last two birthday cards from Paper Pumpkin kits are the only one I made from their kit, so they get a combined post.

This first one I want to estimate came out April of 2017? It was called Pocketful of Cheer with a Mother's Day/graduation kind of theme and was ideal for gift cards. It did have some full sized card bases tho, and I used one of them this day.

Supplies:
Stamps: Pocketful of Cheer Paper Pumpkin kit
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush (long retired)
Paper: Pocketful of Cheer Paper Pumpkin kit
Accessories: Pocketful of Cheer Paper Pumpkin kit

And this second one came from the June 2020 Box of Sunshine kit! This one I actually used "up" on arrival, haha, but I still have some bits! I've used some leftover pieces from this kit in scrapbooks too! Love this one!! The words were part of a bonus set of Paper Pumpkin stamps.

Supplies:
Stamps: Bonus Paper Pumpkin
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Basic White
Accessories: June 2020 Box of Sunshine kit

None of these kits are entirely used up, and that is something I love about Paper Pumpkin! You really can make a LOT of unique projects from one kit, in addition to keeping the stamp and ink spot forever!

Indiana Jones!

I haven't gotten to do much creating with three kids starting at three schools and lots of adventures, but here is a fun Disneyland page for you!
The ride *might have been the worst one of the trip, even tho those of us that have been before all remember enjoying it. I think it was in various states of broken... The journaling is honest, but so are the pictures of the games we played in line trying to last, haha!

Supplies: All retired!
Stamps: Zoofari (2007), Whimsical Alphabet Upper (2005)
Ink: Watermelon Wonder
Paper: Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding
Journaling Font: Rockwell

Anyway, I hope you're making pretty things and mailing off your cards! Hoping to create soon!

More Paper Pumpkin Birthday Cards!

Once again, I have a couple birthday cards using some older Paper Pumpkin kits! This one was called Here's To You and came in March 2021. I used this kit "up" a while ago, but I had most of the envelope inserts leftover, which are pretty paper! So I made this using most of the original design

and this one was my own thought using this fun block background!

Supplies:
Stamps: old Paper Pumpkin kits
Ink: Pretty Peacock (retired)
Paper: Basic White card stock
Accessories: White Bakers Twine, Red & Green Adhesive Backed Pearls, Linen Thread, Dimensionals

A Princess Party

This one looks like it might be Disneyland, but it isn't! It was just a birthday party my daughter was invited to, and she "needed" new pages in her own book, haha.
I tried out several blue ink shades and then did a kind of ombre look with some of the best! Everything here except the cardstock is long retired.

Supplies:
Stamps: Warm Winter Wishes (2001)
Ink: Baja Breeze, Bashful Blue, Seaside Spray, Balmy Blue, Tahitian Tide
Paper: Balmy Blue
Accessories: White Sequins, buttons from a holiday mini, maybe in 2016

Golden Ranunculus

The last card from my class this month is a fun one! So fun in fact, that to save time, I did the die cutting of the ranunculus, both the detailed part and the shiny gold part, before class started, haha... Attendees got to do the embossing part tho, so they had some of the fun.

I like the gold on vanilla look. I'm not a gold person, but I've used this combo before and I think it's really elegant and striking all at the same time.

Supplies:
Stamps: Lovely You
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Very Vanilla card stock, Gold & Rose Gold 6x6 Metallic Paper
Accessories: Brushed Brass Butterflies, Merry Melody embossing folder, Ranunculus dies, Dimensionals, big shot (retired)

And this picture shows off the shiny paper!

Paper Pumpkin for Birthdays Again!

Sale-A-Bration is still happening, and this is your reminder that signing up for pre-paid Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will earn you FREE Sale-A-Bration items! Don't miss out, because it ends Aug 31!

A few days ago I used four different old Paper Pumpkin kits to make a small stack of birthday cards, almost all of which are going out in the next few weeks...! This kit was my daughters' favorite so I'm starting here.
This kit came out August 2019 (The Gift Of Fall) and was a set of adorably small gift sacks and the supplies to make cute tags for them. I used the gift sacks, but I'm really not a tag person, so I use the supplies to make card fronts.

This one uses words from another, older Paper Pumpkin kit.

And these use a now retired stamp set from a previous Sale-A-Bration! Handy how that worked out...

Supplies:
Stamps: Sending You Thoughts, Paper Pumpkin kits
Ink: Merry Merlot
Paper: Crumb Cake card stock, Paper Pumpkin kit
Accessories: August 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit, Dimensionals

Watercolor Pencil Flowers

Happy Monday and a new week to you! I got a bunch of cards made the other day so I *should have some fun posts for you this week!

First up, this stamp set from the cover of the Annual Catalog, which I was just able to purchase. I was in the mood to color, so I just stamped a bunch of the three flower images, and colored them. I added a bit of shading in between and popped it up on a white base. Then some simple white-ish embellishments to finish it off!

Supplies:
Stamps: Happiness Abounds
Ink: Stazon Black
Paper: Basic White card stock
Accessories: White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon, Opal Rounds, Watercolor Pencils (both packs), Blender Pen, Dimensionals

And it's already gone out in the mail! Yeay for birthday cards, eeeven if sometimes they're late....
ahem.

And we're off!

I'm sorry this blog is being ignored, but at least we're making the most of the end of summer! School is about to start and I hope that means more regular crafting time for me, not to mention time to record it, lol!

So today I have a simple layout that I think is still fun. The letter stickers and the patterned squares come from a Project Life kit. I used a Stampin' Blend to color the letters and I like that it isn't a solid color, more varigated. Then just a little hand written journaling finishes it off!

Supplies:
Ink: Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends
Paper: Basic White, Daffodil Delight card stocks
Accessories: Memories In The Making PL Accessory Pack

How are you spending the end of summer? Crafting??

Shelter

Another evening post... lol! But I got some stamp time today so I'm going to share it!
Tonight's card uses the sketch from the latest Fusion Card Challenge, and features this fantastic print from the Sale-A-Bration DP. This paper coordinates with all the stamps in the Ringed With Nature bundle, and purchasing that earns you this paper FREE!

Supplies:
Stamps: Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Paper: Basic White, Mint Macaron, Rings Of Love DP (Sale-A-Bration only!)

This card is simple but I feel still impactful. I thought this sentiment worked well with cute, welcoming cottages and houses. Annnd I might even know exactly who to send this to. So hooray for making it just in time! sigh...
