New Products!

After yesterday's retiring products, how about some new things? My order was so exciting and I can't even show you everything yet! We'll start small.... hee hee....

So today's card uses a stamp set out of the summer mini that is brand new to my house. Its the Strength and Hope set, which is extra special because $2 of every sale of the set (or digital kit!) goes toward Breast Cancer Research! A good cause is a good thing to me!
The other fun thing here is the newww color of purple card stock! Its a very soft shade called Wisteria Wonder and to me it looks like grape bubble gum right out of the wrapper.
Supplies:
Stamps: Strength & Hope, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Wisteria Wonder
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Accessories: Artichoke Seam Binding, Basic Pearls, Word Window Punch

Thanks so much!

With the retiring stamps and other products, my card display board for workshops is quite bare. It holds I think 40 cards and I am now lacking 30! Yikes! So I have a lot of work to get my board full...! But its the best kind of work, I think.

Today's sample uses Mojo Monday sketch #196:
Supplies:
Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes
Ink: Peach Parfait, Pear Pizazz
Paper: Very Vanilla, Pear Pizazz, Peach Parfait
Accessories: Peach Parfait twill ribbon, Neutral Buttons, Wide Oval Punch, 1 3/8 inch circle Punch

Happy Father's Day!

I hope all the wonderful dad's out their are enjoying a pleasant Father's Day. Its pouring rain here, in fact the cold temps and amount of rain broke a 31 year record. crazy... Still, we're having a nice day enjoying the dad in our house, my wonderful husband.

The card I gave him I actually posted in May, but here's the cropped version....

And then here's the final card from my "father's day" card class. I made it a birthday card instead...
The idea is a near-CASE of THIS one on SCS.

Supplies:
Stamps: Under The Stars, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Basic Black, Soft Suede
Paper: More Mustard, Basic Black, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Accessories: Spiral Punch (retiring!!!), Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens

Shirts & ties!

My favorite idea from my Father's Day class comes from Susan on THIS post. She was wonderful enough to share detailed instructions, otherwise I would never have been able to make it!
One of my class attendees went home and made I think 14 for her toddler church class to give to their dad's! Its such a fun idea and so many possibilities! (Susan shares four different ideas)

Here's mine:

Isn't that clever and fun??? I love it! Susan rocks- go check out her ideas for your own last minute Fathers Day cards! :)

Supplies:
Paper: Whisper White card stock, Hostess In Color Paper Patterns DP (retiring!)
Accessories: Rhinestone Square Fire Brads

Nautical!

Here are two more fun cards from the Father's Day class.
This first one is totally inspired by THIS card on SCS by Kristi Jaenisch. My version is different in that we stamped some of the squares, and cut the squares, rather than punched them. Each card is just a little different thanks to the 1-inch squares tho. So fun!

Supplies:
Stamps: The Open Sea, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Early Espresso, Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Nautical Expedition DP
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, Word Window Punch

And then this card uses a different nautical stamp set (yep, I really like this stuff!) with a different feel.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uncharted Territory
Ink: Basic Black, Poppy Parade
Paper: Marina Mist, Sahara Sand, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Hostess In Color Paper Patterns
Accessories: Linen Thread, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens

Card Class - Last Chance!

I had a little masculine themed card class last night, in honor of Father's Day. We made six cards that are great for Father's Day, men's birthdays or even just a nice birthday or sympathy or thinking of you kind of card for anyone.

This card uses Sense of Time, which is going away at the end of the month! I have used it for a lot of masculine things, check it out on my sidebar under "Find my Stamps"! I also chose to make this a birthday card, and used words from Occasional Quotes- a hostess set that will also be gone at the end of the month!

Supplies:
Stamps: Sense of Time, Occasional Quotes
Ink: Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake
Paper: Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Artichoke seam binding, Vintage Trinkets, Stamping Sponge

Graduation!

My sister (and youngest sibling) graduated from high school this month! Now we're all grown up! hee hee. My mom suggested I help make her graduation announcements. My sister decided I am the creative person in the family and gave me complete creative license with the whole thing. I made suggestions but pretty much it was all up to me.

So here's the gist, with the specifics blurred out...

and here are the variations!
Supplies:
Stamps: God's beauty (long retired)
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Kiwi Kiss (long retired), Basic Gray card stocks, Urban Oaisis DP (long retired)
Accessories: Black embossing powder, heat tool

Printed Digital Book!

I have been away from home but my digital book arrived!! Did you print anything through Stampin' Up! during National Scrapbooking Month with the discount? This is all I got- the whole year in a book! I am SO excited about it and so happy about how it turned out! I'm actually going to save it and give it to my son for his birthday which is next month. I think he'll really be thrilled- he loves looking at his scrapbooks. But you're so lucky, you get to see the final product now!

I had to blur out his name but trust me when I tell you it looks fabulous and striking!
I've posted both of these pages, but here they are again, printed!
 I customized the back, lol!
Its like a shiny yearbook. I love it!
