Dragonflies & Texture

I needed a couple birthday cards and couldn't pick a color for the dragonfly, haha, so I ended up making four similar but different cards and two of them became birthday cards! I used the current Freshly Made Sketch for the layout. I used the pack of In Good Taste DP and a variety of patterns, some are the flip side of another. I really like all the "textures" and shades in that DP.

Sheepy Birthday

Today I have a card using this cute Sale-A-Bration stamp set, combined with the Fusion sketch, and their inspiration photo a little bit. Instead of a full rainbow I did yellow, green, blue and purple. Because I have a birthday girl whose favorite color is purple!

We Create Blog Hop: School Daze

And it's already August! Another month means another blog hop and appropriately our theme this month is our interpretation of "School Daze". It is time to dive back in to school here!!

When I thought of our theme and looked over my stamp sets, this one jumped out to me with the song "Mary Had a Little Lamb", haha, so I went with it!

We Create Blog Hop: School Daze

August already?? Holy cow the year is flying by! But, another month means another blog hop for you, so here we go! 

Our hop theme this month is however we interpret "School Daze". Appropriate because we have one "real" week of summer left and then school swallows up everything else!
Anyway, I looked over my stamps and the only thing that came to mind was this brand new Sale-A-Bration stamp set and "Mary Had A Little Lamb" ...haha, so that's what I did!
I made it a birthday card because I need a bunch of those! Also, again, this gorgeous Beauty of the Earth DP is still on sale through tomorrow! So of course I used a bit more. I thought the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches worked perfectly!
