I have gotten a little scrapbooking done the last couple days but I really needed a thank you card, so I paused to make this, and get it in the mail. It's super simple, but perfect for what I need.

Scrapping x2

I haven't gotten to stamp anything in quite a while. Life went completely batty. So today I had some time and I really wanted to scrapbook. My little one had asked me to do more for her book, haha, so I started there. And then my son saw the pictures I was working with and got excited and thanked me for doing it for his book! Um! So clearly I had to do both kids' layouts right then, haha!!

Also, I just helped my mom start reorganizing her craft space, and that included moving all the old, retired stamps that went to live at her house. I spied these super adorable Snow Angels and knew exactly what pictures to pair it with!

Here's the first layout I did...
Supplies:
Stamps: Snow Angels, ABC Alphabet Lower & ABC Alphabet Upper
Ink: Memento Black, Bermuda Bay, Balmy Blue
Paper: Whisper White, Balmy Blue card stocks
Accessories: Watercolor Pencils

And a few close ups!

My coloring is nothing like perfect, I wasn't going for perfect. I just used the Watercolor Pencils as pencils and added some color.

Annnd the second layout I made! I might go back and add a more obvious title, but for now I'm happy with it.
Supplies:
Stamps: Snow Angels
Ink: Memento Black, Blueberry Bushel, Pool Party
Paper: Whisper White, Blueberry Bushel card stocks
Accessories: Watercolor Pencils

And a few more close ups!

And that's four more pages done, haha!

First Grade!

Hello again! I hope your week is turning out calmer than mine, haha!
Just a quick post today. Here's a sweet page I did last week, with a whole lot of old things, the stamps, the DP and the pictures!
Supplies:
Stamps: Skinny Mini ABC (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Pool Party, Storytime DP (retired)

And a closeup of that stamping. I love to stamp in my scrapbooks! It's the best way to do titles for sure!

One Sketch, Two Birthdays!

Happy Monday! I have two cards for you today!

I needed to make some birthday cards and liked the freedom from this sketch on Inspire.Create.Challenges.

First I made this bright card. I had seen this Forever Lovely used as poppies from fellow demonstrator, Nicole Chevallier, (no idea how to link from facebook. Help!) but I hadn't tried it out yet. All it takes is making it a more solid flower by coloring your stamped image in with a blender pen. So easy! I went with pink because I used the color challenge from TGIF Challenges.
Supplies:
Stamps: Forever Lovely, Very Versailles
Ink: Melon Mambo, Pool Party, Smoky Slate Marker, Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blend
Paper: Melon Mambo, Pool Party, Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Blender Pen

Then I made this softer card. I used the inspiration challenge from Just Add Ink for a beachy sunset. It's not my favorite "sunset" because I used a blender pen. It would be smoother with an Aquapainter, or sponges, but it works just fine for this card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Friend Like You
Ink: Memento Black, Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose
Paper: Rococo Rose, Basic Black, Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Blender Pen

If I hadn't used a blender pen on both cards, these would totally qualify for #simplestamping. And I like that, because sometimes there just isn't a lot of crafty time! haha...

Quick & Cute

I finally designed the last card for tomorrow's class! I wanted an option "for kids" because everyone coming has kids or grandkids. I picked Calypso Coral because it's kind of orangy and I think works for a boy better than a pinker shade. But maybe they have a different valentine idea for the kids, so I wanted it to work for any occasion they might need.
I used the latest CASE This Sketch for the layout, and I don't know why I turned it the other direction, haha... I also broke my own rules, and pulled out an old Paper Pumpkin stamp set for the hearts and valentine greeting...! Then a few gold pearls finish it off, and that is that!
Supplies:
Stamps: Artfully Aware. Jan 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit
Ink: Calypso Coral
Paper: Calpyso Coral, Pool Party & Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Metallic Pearls

Beautiful Day

Today I have the third card for my class. It isn't exactly Valentine-sy but it is pretty and it uses Sale-A-Bration items!
I've barely mentioned that here on my blog this year, but this stamp set and embossing folder are only available til the end of March, and only with a $100 order! These two items come as a bundle only. There are items that are free with a $50 order too. View them all in the catalog on my sidebar, or click HERE.
Supplies:
Stamps: Power of Hope, Very Versailles
Ink: Memento Black, Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends, Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends, Dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blends, Light Petal Pink Stampin' Blends
Paper: Whisper White & Blackberry Bliss card stock, Perennial Essence DP
Accessories: Scalloped Lace Trim, Stone Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Dimensionals

Couple Valentine

Happy Wednesday! Still prepping for my card class this Saturday, so here's another card we'll be making. I think this turned out lovely, and it is SO simple! This could be for Valentines or a wedding or anniversary, or just because your sweetie needs something fun in his lunchbox or briefcase!

This card totally counts for the latest SUO challenge love-theme, and I used a previous week's Freshly Made Sketch for the layout. It's a little wonky to have the angled DP, especially for a class, but it worked out just fine.
Supplies:
Stamps: Silhouette Scenes
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Paper: Petal Pink & Whisper White card stock, Perennial Essence DP
Accessories: Pearls, Big Shot, Sweet Silhouette Dies

We Create Blog Hop: Have a Heart

Good afternoon! It's a new month and that means a fun new blog hop! With Valentine's Day right around the corner, today's hop is all about love!
My card is pretty simple, but I'm really happy with it. In fact, if you took off the little droplets, it totally qualifies for #simplestamping! But I like the droplets so I kept them, haha!
Supplies:
Stamps: Forever Lovely
Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Real Red & Memento Black
Paper: Whisper White & Basic Black card stocks
Accessories: Frosted Epoxy Droplets

My card fits three current challenges, which was a big help trying to get back in to stamping after being sick. I used the color challenge from Global Design Project, the SC784 sketch from Splitcoaststampers.com and since I used flowers, I'm putting it with the SUO Floral Challenge! AND! This card is definitely going to be part of my upcoming class!

Now, hop on over to Libby's blog and then hop on thru the whole group to see what we've created for you today! Leave us your thoughts- we all enjoy feedback!
