Halloween Cookies!

Another late-in-the-day post, but I got a card made! This will go out next year. But I made paper cookies!!

I used the SUO Challenges inspiration photo. I didn't really have the Halloween images in the photo, but I do have a cookie cutter set, haha, and I have the shown colors. I stamped the cookies on Basic Beige hoping they'd look like lightly browned sugar cookies. They do not, but it's okay, hahaha....the colors show up better on Basic Beige than they would on Crumb Cake. I am not a coloring perfectionist and I decided to lean in to that and call it icing! And then the circles that come with punching out the gingerbread shape became sprinkles that are scattered on the table with the cookies!
Supplies:
Stamps: Cookie Cutter Halloween, Buffalo Check
Ink: Memento Black
Stampin' Blends: Dark & Light Granny Apple Green, Dark & Light Pumpkin Pie, Dark Basic Black, Dark Highland Heather, Light Blackberry Bliss
Paper: Basic Beige, Basic Black & Granny Apple Green card stocks
Accessories: Cookie Cutter Punch, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Halloween Scarecrow!

I don't make a lot of Halloween cards, but I do send a few, which means I need a few!

Today I used the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches, along with the Autumn/Fall challenge from Inspire.Create.Challenges. I colored this cute little scarecrow to match the plaid DP I could find. (as I was coloring, I remembered that my other plaid stack is with my Christmas DP...)

Everything I used is from the waayback.
Supplies:
Stamps: Cookie Cutter Halloween, Good Greetings
Ink: Memento Black, Island Indigo
Stampin' Markers: Smoky Slate, Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Strawberry Slush
Paper: Lost Lagoon & Basic White card stock, Adventure Bound DP
Accessories: Bumblebee 2020-22 In Color Ribbon, Metallic Pearls, Cookie Cutter Punch, Dimensionals

Cookie Cutter Halloween!

This first card has been mailed out, and this time uses a lot of retired product, which was fun. This stamp set is from 2016, and apparently I've only used this scarecrow stamp from the whole set! So first I added the crow and the trick or treat bag! Yeay progress? hahaha!

I used the sketch from Just Add Ink and this totally qualifies for the SUO Challenge of "coloring".

Supplies:
Stamps: Cookie Cutter Halloween (2016), Good Greetings (2014)
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Whisper White, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black card stocks
Accessories: Circle dies, Dimensionals, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch (2016), yellow twine (old Paper Pumpkin kit), big shot
Stampin' Blends: Light Old Olive, Light Night of Navy, Light & Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light & Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Cherry Cobbler, Dark Balmy Blue

This second card uses the rest of the little trick or treaters, and again the trick or treat bag. No sketch or color combo this time, just me making these guys work on a card for once!

Supplies:
Stamps: Cookie Cutter Halloween (2016), Good Greetings (2014)
Ink: Memento Black, Versamark
Paper: Mango Melody, Old Olive, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Basic White
Accessories: Dimensionals, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch (2016)
Stampin' Blends: Ivory, Light Petal Pink, Dark Cherry Cobbler, Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Basic Black

Cards In The Mail!

I have gotten so many cute cards in the mail lately and haven't shared them in so long, that I am splitting them up! Today I have the fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving cards, and I've saved Christmas for a later day....but likely other cards will arrive by then, haha!

Creators names are added to each photo. Enjoy! I know I do!

Paper Pumpkin take two...

If you saw yesterday's post with the August Paper Pumpkin kit, you might recognize some of today's supplies. I still needed some Thank You cards and I wanted to try something else with the kit...

I thought the colors lent themselves well to this adorable scarecrow, so it was time to break out the Cookie Cutter Halloween set! haha!
Supplies:
Stamps: Cookie Cutter Halloween, August 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit
Ink: Early Espresso, Memento Black, Cajun Craze, Tip Top Taupe marker, Mint Macaron marker, Crushed Curry marker, Blender Pen
Paper: Tip Top Taupe, Very Vanilla card stocks, August 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit
Accessories: Cookie Cutter Punch, August 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit

And this one is just a little bit different...I added some of the Early Espresso bakers twine, from the kit, and then popped up the greeting and scarecrow on Dimensionals. I also colored the scarecrow just a bit differently to try something else.
Supplies:
Stamps: Cookie Cutter Halloween, August 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit
Ink: Memento Black, Cajun Craze, Tip Top Taupe marker, Mint Macaron marker, Crushed Curry marker, Blender Pen
Paper: Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla card stocks, August 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit
Accessories: Cookie Cutter Punch, August 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit

What do you think? Do you like to use kits differently than they were designed or stick to the original plan?
