Baby Scrap

I'm not feeling well right now, but since I am still the mom, 'rest' is a relative term. *wink* So I got these two pages done while vegging! That's a nice thing about this digital scrapping... The first page uses a photo template included in the software and the second page is based on a sketch from SCS.

Clueless Sketch

Whoo for that! So! the Cinema Challenge this week was Clueless. Is that because I have been totally enjoying the new Emma on PBS? or just a coincidence? The funny thing is, I forgot most of Clueless almost as soon as I saw it. For years I have assumed I fell asleep in the theater. (it was an extremely busy time in my life! I was in high school, people!) But when I watched this Emma (and perhaps because of the recent passing of Brittney Murphy) I remembered a LOT about that movie....and then to see it was this weeks challenge, I HAD To make time to play along! They also asked for plaid, which explains the long-retired paper...

The card uses Susan's sketch, which was super exciting to me because Susan is one of my favorite artists to visit. So I had to use that too! And it all worked out fabulously because now I have a card done that I won't need for several more weeks! YEAY!

Supplies: Stamps: Humor in High Heels, Teeny Tiny Wishes Ink: Basic Gray Paper: Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Banbury DP (retired) Accessories: Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon, SS Brads, Mat Pack, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2 Way Glue Pen, Scallop Circle Punch

And here's a close up to see the glitter...even tho its snowing so the pictures are dark...

Valentines!

Did you have a happy Valentines day? Ours was great! Here is a myriad of this year's Valentine cards!

This is a quick one I threw together for my son's lunch box. I forgot til that morning!

These are the ones my mom made and sent us! This made me laugh...I saw how many valentine sets at the store came with pencils or stickers or whatever so I thought I'd let my son choose his own valentines instead of me making them for him. Ha! As he was finishing these up, he said "Mom, next year can I *make* my valentines??" giggle! I think I raised that boy right!

And here are three of the five valentines my girly made. She was so proud, and it was the first time I let her use glitter.

It almost killed me. *grin*

A Set!

Once again, I didn't make this. My mom attended a retreat and a Stampin' Up! demonstrator (named Heather...) was there with this project:

Supplies: Stamps: Medallion, En Francais, Teeny Tiny Wishes Ink: Old Olive, Real Red, Brilliant Blue, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Old Olive Accessories: Silver Brads, Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Dimensionals

They made 4 of each color and used the Teeny Tiny Wishes to do any greeting they wanted. And the demo had made this box for them to hold it all in, with a matching card front to decorate the box. I thought they were really pretty!

Monochromatic page!

This page began because the Stamp & Scrap challenge was to do a monochromatic page. Sure, I could have done a digi page, but I have so many photos printed...and I really want to print more... so I'd better use these ones up!
This page is an excellent Valentines page. But! the photo was taken on the 4th of July a year or so ago! Ha! Its just such a sweet pic of my kids that I wanted it to be its own page. Obviously, my color was red...and its hard to do monochromatic with red! Silly me...
The white card stock on the chipboard heart will be where I put my journaling...when I get a hold of a red marker. *grin.
Supplies:
Stamps: Priceless, Taffy ABC
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Real Red & Whisper White card stock, Prints DP (retired)
Accessories: Heart to Heart Punch, Real Red striped grosgrain ribbon, Stamping Sponge, BB Buttons (retired)
