Several years ago...

this girl turned 9. Now she's nearly a full-grown adult by all standards of measurement, and she's about to head out on her own, too!
But I just made this layout last month, so that's what you get to see today.
Also, in spite of the simplicity, it's a good spring page, which works well right now.
Supplies:
Paper: Basic White, Melon Mambo, Hues of Happiness DP
Accessories: Regal Foiled Dots, Melon Mambo 1/8 ribbon, Large Number framelit dies,
Journaling Font: Clipper Script

St Patrick's Day Layout #3

Hello and happy Friday!

Today I have a scrapbook page for you that was for a challenge *I issued! I am not exactly well versed in issuing creative challenges, but I was trying to help the host, so I used one I've seen many times before. Also it was something I was sure I could do, ha!
1 die / punch
2 ribbons, twine, thread, etc
3 DSP patterns
4 buttons brads dots, etc

I used the bit of gold glimmer scallop on the side of the center photo for the punch.
I have some gold thread and a strip of ribbon.
I have three fun DP patterns
and four little candy dots!

Supplies:
Paper: Basic White & Old Olive card stocks, Sunshine & Sprinkles DP, Gold Glimmer DP
Accessories: Everyday Enchantment Organdy Lucky Limeade ribbon, Gold Twine, Gold Faceted Sequins, Scallop Edge Punch
Journaling Font: Moon Flower Bold

This is clearly the same day I shared yesterday, but for my other daughter's books. It's funny because I forget that rainbow is good for St Patrick's Day stuff- usually I stick to green and gold, ha. But this is the second time this week that this exact DP showed up, so I suppose I remembered twice!

St Patrick's Day Layout #2

Hello again!
Today's St Patrick's Day layout uses a challenge from last summer to use three sheets of half-forgotten DP. You got it! Altho this DP did belong to my MIL for the first 15 years it existed, ha.
I don't think I've ever used blue on a St Patrick's Day layout, but I don't really know why not.

Somehow or other, it has become tradition that we eat some kind of festive food to celebrate- this year it was mashed potatoes, soda bread muffins, and some green vegetables, specifically roasted broccoli and baked zucchini. This year, the kids also woke up to skittles and gold coins, haha. And it's finally scrapped!

Supplies:
Stamps: Alphabest, Just Perfect Alpha
Ink: Shy Shamrock
Paper: Basic White, Pear Pizazz (retired) card stock, Flowers For You DP (2006!)
Accessories: Subtles Candy Dots

St Patrick's Day Layout #1

Happy Monday to you!

Today kicks off my little bit of St Patrick's Day layouts. I think this might be the first year we ever took a picture of St Patrick's Day "wearin' o' the green". It was just funny because both green tshirts belonged to my son. My daughter is wearing a Minecraft shirt and he is wearing Legends of Zelda, ha. But, I made a fun layout for them - finally. I actually made a copy for each kid, tho they are basically identical.

I also used a sketch shared by Cheryl a while back, for this fun layout. Single-photo pages are not my forte, ha.

Supplies:
Stamps: Alphabest
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Shy Shamrock & Basic Black card stocks, Sunshine & Sprinkles DP
Accessories: Washi Tape, Metallic Pearls, Circle Dies, big shot

Cousin Time

Hello again!
A typical week in my life involves me at home during school hours- doing laundry, food prep and cooking, cleaning, and some crafting. A good week includes some family history. Maybe 1-2 days a week where I run errands and things during the day.
Last Thursday I was gone almost the entire day. I got home around 1030pm. Saturday I was gone almost the entire day. Monday I was gone almost the entire day. Tuesday I was gone almost the entire day. And yesterday I was busy more than half the day. Guys. I am tired. And I am missing my home-body life! LOL! I neeeed some crafty time!
But today is not that day, either! Ha!

I did make this layout sometime last month. (Did I even know it was March now? barely. Only because my birthday has been this week too, ha!) This was for our scrapbook challenges. The first page uses a layout sketch from my stampy friend Cheryl, which was the challenge. The second page was made to coordinate.

These photos have been printed for yeears, and the supplies are close to the same age, so it was well past time to get these done and in a book!
Supplies:
Stamps: Classic Alphabet
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Autumn Spice DP, Crumb Cake card stock
Accessories: Amber Gems, Sweetheart Punch
Journaling Font: Cinnamon Cake

I hope YOU get to craft this week! I'm off again!
