Creche Event

This is one of my favorite events. It's a two part in the next town over. There is a walk thru a park with huge posters telling the story of Christmas. Then you arrive at a little church. This particular year, they had a candlelight singalong. Then you drive maybe a mile away to another church where they have maybe 200 nativities of different sizes and themes on display. Everyone walks around and checks them all out, while there is live music (choirs, piano, harp...) playing in the chapel. They often have a little scavenger hunt to keep the kiddos looking, but big kids can fill it out all in one shot, haha.
Anyway, it's a really nice evening, all about the true meaning of Christmas and I love it.

I think I got this stamp set off the retired list, whenever that was, and I didn't have a chance to play with it for a long time- maybe this was the first time? But I had a lot of fun coloring it to match our family!
