So, I'm part of a little scrapbooking group on Splitcoaststampers, and this month they had a virtual scrapbook night month with a handful of challenges. This single day trip was scrapped using two different challenges, and still all goes together!
First up, a wordplay challenge, with the letters L-O-V-E.
For this page, I chose Letters, Oval, Violet, Embellishments. ha.
Supplies:
Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes, Alphabet Appeal
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant
Paper: Basic White, Wisteria Wonder card stocks
Accessories: Oval Punch, Subtles Candy Dots, Neutrals Candy Dots
Journaling Font: Janda Elegant Handwriting
Then the second part of the day fit a challenge to try the smooching technique. I used the two purpley inks and spritzed them with water. Then I laid a small piece of white card stock on the ink, and cut out a scallop circle from it. Then I cut that circle in half for the layout.
Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes, Alphabet Appeal
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant
Paper: Basic White card stock
Accessories: Subtles Candy Dots, Neutrals Candy Dots, Circle dies, Big Shot
And! with that third page, I finally (HA!) finished my pack of Subtles Candy Dots!! That was the green Stampin' Up! label, which came before the black label! haha! In some ways, it's about time! But in other ways, I like dots- they're so easy to use, and the adhesive stuck to those!
