Hello again! Back so soon? Yes! Yes I am! The temp dropped by about 40* and it has been a fabulously rainy week with snow on the mountains AND I've had some time to play so here I am again!
Today I have a three-fer! And I used three stamp sets... interesting...
Today I have a three-fer! And I used three stamp sets... interesting...
I cased the blue card from SUO Challenges, used the items from As You See It, and the colors from Hand Stamped Sentiments! And I super love how it all came together!
I do wish I'd adhered all the bits a little lower so the leaf was lower, but it was too late, and it's fiiine.
I was a little stuck on the die-cut for As You See It... I don't have any pumpkin die cuts that came to mind or surfaced in my quick search, and that's where my brain fixated. But as soon as I thought of a shape to stamp on, I was set!

ReplyDeleteI like that you used a leaf die cut for your sentiment. Using your older stamps is a great idea - after all, we're building a collection of things that will work together. Thanks for sharing with us at As You See It. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is SO cute, Tanya! The gingham, the pumpkins stamped on a maple leaf, the ribbon accessories....so perfect! I absolutely love the blue stems on the pumpkins! Thanks for playing along with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

ReplyDeleteClever thinking using the leaf die cut to display your focal points on! Who said it had to be the pumpkins! Great way to highlight some of your older stamps, too! Thanks for cooking up our recipe at As You See It Challenges.
ReplyDeleteI think my first comment disappeared...maybe it's a glitch in the Matrix? Anyway, I really like that giant leaf die that you used to stamp your pumpkins and greeting in, that's an inspired choice and works so well with the other elements of your card. Thanks for playing along with us at SUO Challenges!
ReplyDeleteNicely done card. I really like how you stamped your image and sentiment inside the leaf. Very creative. Thanks for playing with the SUOC
ReplyDeleteSuper cute with the splash of blue and such a bonus with the I never should have gotten rid of the Buffalo Check stamp. Great job! Thank you so much for playing along with us at SUOChallenges.com and we hope to see you again tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteUsing the buffalo check was a fun idea and using it half way! I love that you are using your stash! I am really trying to embrace that these days. I have so much and find sets all the time I forget I had and then they feel all new again. Thanks for joining the hand stamped sentiments challenge!
ReplyDeleteUsing the maple leaf as the sentiment label with the cute pumpkins stamped on it is perfect.
