Christmas Party Date Night

This is actually a Christmas event, but the photos look more like Valentines, and the page looks like winter, lol, so I'm sharing it now!

Altho it really hasn't looked like winter at my house. It SHOULD. I know most other places have had quite a winter. We are getting skipped. One weatherman posted that Utah is allergic to moisture. Seriously... It's a little scary, tbh. I want a garden this year AND I'm not in the mood for wildfires.... just sayin.

Supplies:
Stamps: Classic Alphabet, Classic Alphabet Numbers
Ink: Smoky Slate
Paper: Basic White, Powder Pink, Peaceful Place DP
Accessories: Iridescent Ribbon, Metallic Pearls

Purple Roses

Hello again!
Today I have the second card I made a few days ago with the pink roses. After I colored them pink, I thought it might work well to use the Blending Brush to color them instead. Maybe a slightly softer look...? So I tried it in purple! Four different shades of purple show up on this card! I brushed the roses in Wisteria Wonder and I drew a little bit using the Gorgeous Grape watercolor pencil on the daisies.

Supplies:
Stamps: Layers of Beauty, PS You're The Best
Ink: Smoky Slate, Wisteria Wonder, Gorgeous Grape
Paper: Highland Heather, Basic White
Accessories: Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon, Regals Candy Dots (Elegant Eggplant), Blending Brush, Exposed Brick embossing folder, Big Shot

Epic Birthday!

I know a young man who is a biiig fan of EPIC: The Musical and when this long-retired stamp set (2018) was spied, it was suggested I couldn't make his birthday card without that greeting, ha! So I combined these two rock-music styled stamps with the latest challenge from CAS Colours & Sketches, and ended up with this:
Supplies:
Stamps: Epic Celebrations, Grunge Rock
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Pool Party
Paper: Pool Party, Soft Seafoam, Basic White card stocks
Accessories: Shades of Green Hexagons

Pink Roses

Hello and happy Monday! ...still. I have a sickie home but I think she'll be at school tomorrow. I actually had two sickies home this morning but one was okay after some meds, lol... 'tis the season. And there's actually a storm blowing in, for once. I hope it brings a lot of water!!!

Today I have a card using the inspiration photo from SUO Challenges. I picked the colors and the roses. I started coloring with Stampin' Blends but I felt like that was way too bold. So I used Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens to color in just the blooms themselves. I also distressed it a little with the Timeworn Type embossing folder.

Supplies:
Stamps: Layers of Beauty, Sunny Sentiments
Ink: Smoky Slate, Flirty Flamingo
Paper: Flirty Flamingo, Basic Beige
Accessories: Antique Pearls, Crochet Lace, Watercolor Pencils (Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Cherry Cobbler), Blender Pens, Timeworn Type embossing folder, Dimensionals, Big Shot

And, I liked, and had a variation idea, so I made another for another day, ha!

A Valentine card

Hello and happy Monday to you!
It's Groundhog Day today, but we celebrated yesterday, haha. Yep, we celebrate! We've kind of always watched the Bill Murray movie every year, more like as an indoor date night. One year my daughter heard lots of people talking about the Super Bowl food they were going home to enjoy after church, ha, so we made Super Bowl food to celebrate Groundhog Day that year. And the tradition stuck!

But most of February, especially in the crafting world, (and the mom world) means Valentines. So today I have a Valentine-y card that I made last year and never shared! Handy! ha! I am pretty sure I designed this for a class and changed my mind.
Supplies:
Stamps: Perfect Pairs
Ink: Memento Black, Real Red
Paper: Basic White, Real Red, Basic Black card stocks
Accessories: Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots
