We Create: Sale-a-Bration: Join

Happy September!! A new month means a new blog hop and I'm chatty today so get comfy! haha!

This month we're taking a minute to focus on the fantastic Sale-A-Bration products that are only available for one more month!

You can earn 10 of these products for FREE with a $50 or $100 order (before tax & shipping), or 1 of them by hosting a workshop that totals $300 or more.
If you sign up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration, you can select your favorite bundle from the July-Dec Mini Catalog, on top of your starter kit, FREE!
Because Sale-A-Bration is the best time to join, on this blog hop, we're also thinking about what made us sign up with Stampin' Up! in the first place.
And I combined all of that in to one project!

Personally, I joined Stampin' Up! completely for the scrapbooking options. When I first heard about Stampin' Up!, I had just finished scrapping the first 18 years of my brother's life with paper and stickers from the scrapbook stores. They were my favorite places, but they really had nothing after a boy turns about 10.... just more cars, bugs and dinosaurs... And solid card stock or paper was only sold in packs that always came with pinks and purples, and my brother was not a fan. Stampin' Up! sold and still sells, their card stock in packs of whatever your favorite color is (altho no longer the 12x12 size). Stampin' Up! has stamp images that suit every age and a huge spectrum of interests. They also have a huge selection of coordinating (ie: Matching!) accessories and embellishments that are ever-changing! Hilariously, my first order was a baby stamp set so I could scrapbook the first couple years of my son's life, and I thought I was set. ....I signed up less than a year later, during Sale-A-Bration! And I'm still here, 17 years later!

Anyway, all of that means I have a scrapbook page for you today! I used my favorite bundle from the Mini, which is this lovely little cabin in the woods. (I only used the woods part...) I also used this gorgeous wintery, holiday themed DP that is a Sale-A-Bration-exclusive Freebie! This was my very favorite thing in the Sale-A-Bration mini, as soon as I saw it. Which one is your favorite?

Supplies:
Stamps: Peaceful Cabin
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Sahara Sand, Garden Green & Shaded Spruce card stocks, Peaceful Prints DP
Accessories: Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Cabin Dies, Big Shot
Journaling Font: Eraser, The Serif Hand Black

I was inspired by a layout my scrapping friend Cheryl has on her blog HERE, tho my layout is definitely different.

Now hop on along over to Libby's blog with the button below, and let us know what you think of our work today.

Then make something yourself and share it to brighten someone's day!
And if you want this bundle, or any of the others (see below and check pages 64-71 of the mini) for FREE, you'll want to sign up NOW!

  1. Lol, one of the first sets I bought from SU! was also a baby set...to announce my daughter. I don't think it was even a SU! art set, it was way back when they used to carry other companies' stuff. There was no way to join to join online or on the phone, so it was mail, or fax. I love your scrapbook pages for this hop - way better than dinosaurs and bugs! 😁 Thanks for sharing!

  2. my first set was a Christmas set to make tags with. It was the foam mounted rubber - I keep it for sentimental reasons. Love your scrapbook page - such a fun way to enhance memories
