The class theme was changed to "Distressed Projects." Expect to see some pretty and messy cards here, lol! We'll start with this one, which I was excited to use since its the very last day of Sale-A-Bration! It took some serious thinking, lol, and I think it turned out really pretty!

Class Sample #2
This card is very, very similar to the ones found HERE, but this one is easier for a class because it requires less accessories for me to run out of, lol. I seriously love this bunny as a baby card!!
So are you coming to the class? Its this Friday afternoon!

Upcoming Card Class!
Yes, I got some stamping done! I've also been swamped with other things, had a computer virus take over my computer (and the rebuild involved with that) and ya know, all the other things going on in my life. So maybe I can get a few blog posts up before the end of the month, lol.
I have a customer who keeps requesting wedding and baby cards, but most of my other customers don't need many of those. This card is pretty enough for a wedding, but its also fitting for a nice birthday, thank you or thinking of you type card. That means anyone who attends the class can find a way to use it! I've got a class this coming Friday, and this is one of the cards we'll be making!
Supplies:
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Pocket Silhouettes
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Basic Gray
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Basic Gray, Whisper White
Accessories: White Organza Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Wide Oval Punch

Imagination
I actually got a scrapbook page done this weekend!! Yeay!!
These pictures capture a funny kind of moment...My daughter hid her face behind a tree and told me she was pretending she was in in a forest. The thing is, the tree is a scrawny, tiny thing that our lawn crew was trying to cut down only about a month before. The second picture shows the tree in reality, even if the lighting is lousy.
I think its great when you can photograph something straight out of a child's imagination, and then to scrapbook it is a lot of fun too!
Supplies:
Ink: Always Artichoke marker
Paper: Certainly Celery, Melon Mambo card stocks
Accessories: Ice Cream Parlor SS Kit (retired)
I used the Simply Scrappin' Kit from last years Sale-A-Bration freebies. What have you gotten this year? I am putting an order in on the 22nd if you need to replenish your supplies or want anything that's going away...!

Baby Mojo!
Yes I AM alive! hee hee! I have been sooo busy and I haven't felt well this past week so any actual free time I've had I've just rested. In fact I pulled out all my stamping supplies once....and ended up just putting it all away. sad! But today I really had to make a baby card, so I went a head and made two! (To be honest, I stamped 5 images and colored them, but I only got two of them on a card)
I won this adorable spring-y stamp set from Susan's blogiversary, and her's is a blog I have been reading since about the time she began! I've sent you to her before for the super cute shirt/tie cards I did at Father's Day. Anyway, I've had this set for a couple weeks now and have been itching to play with it.
Maybe this image doesn't work as well as I thought for a baby card, but! maybe it does! I liked it anyway, lol! I also used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch for these cards, and retired DP, mixed with current accessories!
and a close up of the sweet bunny baby boy!
Supplies:
Stamps: Everybunny
Ink: Basic Gray
Paper: Bashful Blue & Whisper White card stock, Retired Hostess Bashful Blue DP
Accessories: Bitty Buttons, White Bakers Twine, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens
another close up...
wanna know what? I stamped this little guy crooked so the shadow line did not match the edge of the card stock. Solution? Oval Punch! Yeay!
Supplies:
Stamps: Everybunny, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Basic Gray
Paper: Pear Pizazz, Pool Party & Whisper White card stocks, Retired Hostess Pear Pizazz DP
Accessories: Wide Oval Punch, Word Window Punch, In Color Printed Brads, Mat Pack, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens, White Grosgrain Ribbon

Baby Shower Invites!
I helped throw a baby shower for a friend, expecting her first little boy. Since I needed to make a bunch of these, I pulled out my retired card stocks and DP and used some things up!
This first variation (top, center) is my favorite. I have Bashful Blue card stock with some old Banbury DP.
Then (top right) I have Marina Mist card stock with some retired Wild Wasabi DP from a hostess 6x6 pack.
Finally, the three across the bottom, I have some very old Bayou Blue card stock with some old Pear Pizazz DP from a different hostess 6x6 pack!
They all have the same cute Elebration stamp, in Basic Gray ink, on Whisper White DP. I typed up the information, printed it off and attached it to the back, all using a darling free font I got HERE. (on her sidebar, under 25 favorite fonts - Little Days)

Final Birthday Class Sample
This card was also almost completely inspired by another demonstrator's design. I added the striped paper at the bottom, changed the place of the bakers twine, and have a Lucky Limeade layer where she used Soft Suede. Also I stamped the Pool Party flowers onto the squares, and she had them done a little differently. But I really love how this card turned out, soft colors, pretty, and ready to be mailed off to a special someone!

Stamps: Fresh Vintage, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Soft Suede, Pool Party
Paper: Pool Party, Lucky Limeade & Whisper White card stocks, Everyday Elegance DP (Sale-A-Bration!)

A pretty birthday card
Today was my birthday card class! Since there are 5 cards I now have a few blog posts ready to inspire you! hee hee. It is often said that one great thing about being a demonstrator is that there are SO MANY ideas available to us and we don't have to think up our own. This class was certainly one time I needed that! Most of the time I create my own design, and many times I use sketches as a jumping off point. While I did have ideas swimming around in my head, I had a very hard time finding the creative energy to create cards for this class...so I turned to the Stampin' Up! demonstrator website for ideas. I searched for an idea to use the Upsy Daisy stamp set and tweaked a card I found to make this:
Supplies:
Stamps: Upsy Daisy
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White card stocks
Accessories: Sale-A-Bration Ribbon & Brads, Scallop Edge Punch
