And then everyone in the house got sick and stamp time was not happening. So today I got a little done! YEAY!

First this scrapbook page. It's a bit busy for my taste, but I didn't know what to leave off, hahaha, so here it is!
Stamps: Priceless (retired), Here Comes The Sun (retired)
Ink: Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Gumball Green marker (retired)
Paper: Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight & Whisper White card stocks, Gumball Green card stock (retired) Watercolor Wonder DP (retired)
Accessories: White Baker's Twine, Linen Thread, Wink of Stella, Big Shot, Well Written Framelits, Layering Circles Dies, Glitter Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals

It was inspired by the As You See It challenge, and it fits the top row of the latest Retro Rubber challenge too. The stamps are old- Here Comes The Sun was in last years' Occasions Mini, and Priceless has a copyright date of 2007 on it, and I "only" started this blog in '08, haha!

Here's a close up of the chaos. I made the Baker's Twine green with the Gumball Green marker, because that's the shade of green in the DP.
And finally, here's a close up of the strips of DP. The watercolor look makes them very pale, but I stamped along the bottom dotty strip and I like how it worked with this page.

  1. Lovely! I think that because you've used such soft colours, it cuts the busy-ness right back. That little cluster with the words is gorgeous, and I like the way you've linked your colour choices to the words and the elements of the photo. Thank you for joining us at both Retro Rubber and As You See It Challenge.

  2. I'm so glad to see a scrapbook page in our gallery! It's been a long time, but what is more lovable than a BABY!! I've always love yellow and grey as a combo and the bit of green is the perfect trio! Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenges.,

  3. Your photos are just precious! Love how the colors in your layout match her outfit! The little sentiment works perfect with your design too! Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber! :)

  4. Love this page, the colours compliment your photos so well. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber. Claire DT
